Our Homes

All our care homes are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC),
the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

Your Home

CIMA Care Consortium have designed a residential home for people with learning disabilities. It has generous communal spaces with lovely secure gardens to promote person-centred care. It has been carefully designed by our expert architect and from the outside, appears like any other house on the street.

We are located in a vibrant residential street. We are centrally placed to optimise involvement and partnership with the local community should the residents so choose. We have created a fantastic inspirational environment at West Hill.

We have designed the residence to ‘bring the outside in’. Our residence is a south facing building which overlooks secure, private, generous , well-maintained, mature gardens which lend themselves perfectly for our residents to partake in gardening, activities and for relaxing in. Our architect has designed West Hill to be light, airy and spacious and to include specific rooms and designated areas to allow residents to enjoy arts and crafts, games, reading, music if they so wish.

All our care homes are Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated. They are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. You can learn more about the CQC here

Happy Home!

We have a specially designed sun room which is an amazing calming and relaxing environment. We have a dedicated calming sensory room with multiple innovative features. We have a large homely communal TV area designed for ultimate relaxation.

We have a laundry and utility area designed to empower residents to develop skills of daily living to help promote a progression model if they so wish. We have strived to make the ordinary extraordinary to maximise our service users’ level of engagement. This is full time residential social care in a five bedroom care home designed specifically around the needs of the individual residents.

With fewer residents than the national average which allows for our caring and experienced staff to provide bespoke person-centred care developed in conjunction with the service user and their family.

We are able to provide a person-centred approach in our homely and comfortable home which has been specifically designed to champion independent positive behavioural support and personalised care. Our staff will champion joined up delivery of care to ensure seamless provision of health and social care in a safe, luxurious and homely environment.

Keeping you Safe

Our Service recognises that risk taking is a part of life and that some service users will wish to take certain risks. However, we do as far as practicable; ensure that service users are not subjected to any unnecessary hazards.

If a service user wishes to be included and take part in an activity that involves risk, our Service will ensure that the service user and staff has information available to them, in a format they understand, in order that they can make informed decisions about the risk, and carry out a thorough risk assessment with the individual.

Such risk assessments will be regularly reviewed, with the participation of all parties, in the light of experience. Care support workers are all trained, under the Skills for Care programme to enable them to be appropriately confident and competent in care provision.

We ensure that our service users have genuine choice about who provides their care and also we will seek consent of the individual before care is provided. We seek information from the service users’ friends and family about their likes and dislikes so that our care can be proactive rather than reactive. We are located in a vibrant residential area and are geographically centrally placed to optimise involvement in partnership with the local community should the residents so choose.

We believe that easy access to community integration is a basic human right and this should be upheld. Carers will be in a position to act as advocates for our service users and therefore uphold the rights of the individual within society. All our care homes are Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated. They are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. You can learn more about the CQC here
